The Engineering Journal of the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad was founded in 1989 to publish technical engineering papers in Farsi. Approved by the Ministry of Higher Education of Iran in 2009, the Engineering Journal now publishes papers in five engineering disciplines, namely: Ferdowsi Civil Engineering, Journal of Applied and Computational Sciences in Mechanics, Journal of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Journal of Separation and Transport Phenomena and Journal of Electrical Systems and Signals. Since then, Ferdowsi Civil Engineering has been published twice a year in one volume. Due to increased paper submissions, the editorial board of the journal has decided to promote the journal by publishing the issues, quarterly. Authors are to be informed about the publication of their papers up to six months after submission. Papers can now be sent through the journal’s portal at: https://civil-ferdowsi.um.ac.ir/
According to the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology approval No. 3/11/859, the research journals of country should be specialized. Based on this, the journal of engineering faculty received an agreement to release five professional journals in the fields of Civil and Environmental, Mechanical, Material and Metallurgy, Chemical and Electrical engineering. The Journal of Civil Engineering (JCE) is founded by the Department of Civil Engineering, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran. It is published four times a year. The journal materials are available both online and in printed form. In order to
facilitate receiving and reviewing the submitted articles, the authors are invited to submit online their papers via the JCE website.

All corresponding in the Journal are performed confidentially and the reviewers receive the manuscript in blind form and the authors also are informed about the comments given by the reviewers and not their names.

Website Archiving
All of our electronic content (website, manuscripts, etc.) is stored on two different sources. Content on one server is online and accessible to the readers. The copy of the same content is kept as a backup on one other sources. In case of failure of one server, any one of the other sources can be made online and website expected to be accessible within less than 24-36 hours.
Self-Archiving
Authors may archive the final published version of their articles in personal or institutional repositories immediately after publication.
Charge of submission and publication
In the Journal of Ferdowsi Civil Engineering , authors whose articles are accepted must pay 2000000 Rials for editing and publishing the article to the University Vice president for Research and Technology (payment is online).
